This fur seal pup just discovered he wasn’t quite ready to ‘adult’. While out hunting, he navigated himself away from the ocean and into a freshwater creek south of Adelaide.
So unsurprisingly he seemed grateful when local tour guide Sally Grundy spotted him in his new found swimming spot. She easily managed to catch him and then drive him by car to his more conventional home by the ocean. Once there, he quickly slipped into the water.
They say salt water fixes everything. Let’s hope that also applies to a hungry stomach and a slightly dodgy sense of direction. Good luck little guy...
