Barley the golden retriever’s world revolves around Fluffy; a stuffed toy that looks exactly like him. But just why he’s so obsessed is adorable...
Like so many puppies and kittens, Barley found leaving his mum and all those brothers and sisters hard. In fact, that loneliness hit him so hard he was up whimpering all night. But when ticking clocks and hot water bottles don’t work, what do you do?
Well, his owners found Fluffy. Who, at the time would have been identical in size to his much missed littermates. And while Barley was also craving the comforting pheromones from his mum (which can be added by a blanket from his original home or a pheromone diffuser), the physical presence of a mini-me was enough to get him through the time times and finally settle into his new family life.
But even so, Barley is in no rush to let go of Fluffy any time soon. After all, who doesn’t need a bit of comforting to help them through life’s daily dramas...and de-sexing.
