This bird discovered the dangers of curry in a hurry

The discovery of a new species of bird on the side of a freeway turned out to be anything but.

After being transferred to a wildlife hospital in the UK for further investigation, it only took a bath to remove the yellow residue and reveal his true identity. It turns out the bright orange avian was not an exotic parrot as first thought. Instead, the colourful character was a seagull that had somehow fallen into a vat of curry powder.

Thankfully, after the sticky and spicy blend was removed, the mildly marinated herring gull was cleared for takeoff back to the wild with just a fading tandoori tan to show for his epic adventure...
