To be honest, they do both really well. In the same way we brush our teeth in the morning and at night to prevent dental problems (and keep our breath fresh) a treat or two can do the same job. You really have options here. Either spray directly on the coat and work through with a wash brush or comb...or you can spray into your hand, a cloth or into the wash brush and then apply to the coat. Whatever way you choose, it's a quick and easy coat refresh and reset.
