A super handy device to aid in the removal of paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus) from dogs and cats.

The intuitive curved design allows you to lever and twist the tick out rather than pulling and risk leaving parts of the tick behind.

Suitable for all sizes and species of ticks.

After tick attachment, the paralysis tick (Ixodes holocyclus) secretes a neurotoxin in their saliva that progressively paralyses pets after 2-3 days if it's not removed. Paralysis ticks can be deadly if not detected.

The mouth of a paralysis tick possesses barbs that can make safe (and complete) removal incredibly difficult. The Tick Stick makes the process stress-free.

Please still consult with your vet after the removal of the tick. Another tick may be present and signs may worsen in the 24 hours after removal. Treatment is often still required.

1. Locate tick
2. With curved side closest to pet, slide the small groove onto where tick attaches
3. Once in place, twist spoon once with gentle pressure upwards
4. Using lever action, pull tick out
