Dogs with separation and fireworks stress, reactive barking, and travel phobias.

With anxiety being the number one concern for pet parents, there's no doubt that modern life is tough on best mates.

In a variety of situations including separation and thunderstorm/fireworks stress, L-theanine, has been shown by a number of studies to help keep dogs calm. And all without sedating them.

Each pack contains approx. 12 treat balls.
NB. They are potent little balls so you may not need as many as the feeding guide suggests!

L-theanine:
A hero ingredient when it comes to calming. This amino acid (found naturally in some green tea) has been shown by a number of scientific studies to alleviate signs of stress (like barking, shaking, panting, escaping) in a variety of situations including separation from owners, thunderstorms and fireworks.

It works by naturally regulating brain wave activity. Shifting erratic 'beta' waves to more calm 'alpha' waves. And all without side effects like sedation or drowsiness. It may even reduce cortisol levels.

Chamomile:
This well known flower extract contains apigenin, a flavonoid that binds to specific receptors in the brain, particularly GABA receptors, promoting feelings of calm and relaxation.

Tryptophan:
Tryptophan is one of the key building blocks used by dogs to make melatonin (a crucial sleep hormone) and serotonin (a neurotransmitter that controls mood, sleep, and appetite). Deficiencies can be associated with aggression, depression and moodiness.

Ingredient List:
Australian Salmon (25%), Tapioca, Barley, Oats, Vegetable Glycerine, Citrus Fibre, Chamomile, Salt, Vegetable Gum, Natural Flavour, Tryptophan, Calcium Carbonate, Natural Colour, L-Theanine, Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Natural Antioxidant, Taurine, Organic Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Zinc, Vegetable Oil, Organic Manganese, Vitamin B1, Selenium Yeast, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Manganese, Vitamin B2, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D3, Selenium.

Real Aussie Human-Grade Salmon:
One of the most nutritious protein sources on the planet. Highly digestible and rich in omega 3 fatty acids (like DHA and EPA) to ensure it also has benefits for the skin, coat and heart. It's highly palatable and being a novel protein, salmon is a great choice for dogs with sensitivities to chicken.

Drool's salmon fillet is sustainable and premium, human grade.

    Knock out treats!

Our mini Schnauzer seems sedated whenever we gave her the calm and collected treats. We use these sparingly, only when we are out of the house.

Trying Calm & Collected Treat Balls

Am trying the Calm & Collected Treat Balls for separation anxiety with my ShihTzu/Maltese who sits anxiously at the window waiting for my return when I leave the house. He is eight years old and still sometimes pees in the house when he is stressed. Have tried giving him the treats both 1 hour & 2 hours before departure and next time am going to try three hours. When I arrive home after approx 3 hours away, he goes into complete relaxation & he sleeps. I feel he must be still very anxious while I am away hence the sleep when I get back.

    Drooling

Have the dental sticks and calming treats. The dental sticks are awesome for Puppy breath and keeping his gums healthy. The calking treats help him learning how to cope with car travel. I freak them down so he doesn't need a full treat.
